- Play the game in true sportsman spirit. Only one player will win, but there is a victory in defeat if we learn from it.
- I request all players to help, support and cheer one another. Parents accompanying their children are requested to encourage their wards to take this up. They themselves can take the initiative and reach out.
- It is requested that all children carry a diary and a pen in their kit bags. The idea is to make notes while watching others play. Also, do try and help your team-mates by sharing these notes as and when possible.
- As we all want to win, do remember to work hard, eat & sleep well and be fully prepared physically, mentally & emotionally before each match. Winning becomes a habit for those who plan for it. It does not happen by chance for very long. All this while, let not a loss get the better of you. Analyze what happened, discuss with well wishers and be better prepared for the next match as and when it happens.
- For parents - kindly avoid over-burdening your child with your expectations. Your kids are already doing great. Lets enjoy their efforts and just encourage them to do their best. Help them in this effort to the best of your ability. Remember - kids adore you if they see you behind them, both in victory and in loss. Also, your hard work will most definitely bring rewards - tangible as well as intangible - sooner or later.
- Do carry basic first aid items in your kit bags.
- Attend team meetings as and when requested to.
- Be very punctual and disciplined. Since you are ambassadors of your State do remember that every action and word from you will be observed by others.
- Last, but not the least, have lots of fun, make friends on and off the court and return home as better and more mature human beings.
