Delhi State Trials for Junior Nationals: Important announcement

The trial dates have been revised as 26-27 September 2009; from 11am - 5pm; at DDA Sports Complex, Vasant Kunj.

For all the categories entries received beyond the seeded players will be required to play as per format decided by the Selection Committee. These players must report to the venue on 26 September 09 by 11am sharp.

The top 2 qualifiers from each of these categories will then challenge Seeds 7 and 8 in each category. For Boys U15...Nos. 7 and 8 are still undecided. These positions will be filled up during the trials over 26-27 September 09.

The top 8 Seeds, after the due process of trials, will form the teams for each of the categories. Each category shall have an A team and a B team comprising of Seeds 1-4 and Seeds 5-8 respectively.

As per Chairman of the Selection Committee, Dr B.I.Singh, if required an Age Verification X Ray test may be performed on any of the selected players. It is therefore requested that all players ensure proper age certifications.

Dr Bharat will also conduct a 1 day session with the selected players sometime in Oct 09. This session will focus on training aspects, match preparation, diet & nutrition, critical squash rules etc as a prelude to preparations for the Junior Nationals.
