The first round started on 8th October, 2008 with children less than 11 yrs of age moving with their squash rackets in their hands with genuine competitive spirit. They had great fun on and off the courts.

Efforts like this tournament go a long way in evolving India towards a Sporting Culture – with special emphasis on sports like Squash which also develop Life Skills in our children. As the Commonwealth Games 2010 arrive one can look forward to generating a citizen’s movement with sports as the prime mover.
