Brilliant Performance by local kids in Scottish Juniors - 2008

It was heartining to see local kids from the National Capital Region perform brilliantly at the recently concluded Scottish Juniors - 2008.
Kush Kumar lived up to his ranking and expectations by being the winner in the Under -13 event by winning all his matches 3-0 - literally finishing all his opponents to win and reconfirm his superiority in the category. Deepak Mishra on the other hand had to prove his mantle and despite being seeded 8th in the Under 15 category went on to win against all only to loose his final match to a Canadian. Both these boys did their sponsors - "Prince" http://princesquash.com/ and "Delton Cables" http://deltoncables.com/ proud.
The only girl to travel from the national capital region, Pankhuri Malhotra seeded no. 1 in the Under 13 ran into a Mexican Girl Maria Rivera who eventually lost in the finals to Adil Radwa of Egypt. Pankhuri came third.
